Region : South Africa > Tulbagh
Tasting note : Red apples and refreshing acidity, with a biscuity fine palate.
Blend : Chardonnay & Pinot Noir
Wine Making : Grapes are harvested in the cool of the night. Only the free-run juice is used for this product - ± the first 500 litres per ton. Krone Borealis is bottle-fermented and then matures on the lees in the underground cellars.
Ageing : Bottle aged after the second fermentation in underground cellars, where it develops its toasty character.
ABV : 11.5 %
Drink me with : Fresh asparagus, white meats, smoked salmon and hard cheeses.
