Vines were first planted on this 17th Century estate by the Bladon family in 2004 after seeing the quality of early English wines. 15000 vines now sit in the family garden.
Jenkyn Place Brut 2013

Tasting Note : Subtle golden tones and the fine streams of bubbles. Aromas of crisp green apple and light citrus with all sorts of light nuances; hints of floral, minerality, yeasty notes.
Blend : 62% Chardonnay, 24% Pinot Noir, 14% Pinot Meunier.
Wine Making : Chardonnay and Pinot grapes were pressed separately after picking at optimum ripeness. Transported immediately to the winery for slow, gentle pressing to extract the best juice which is then transferred to stainless steel tanks for temperature-controlled fermentation at 17C. Allowed to rest on its lees until seondary fermentation is completed. The wine was given a gentle filtration once cold and stable, and bottled in July 2014.
Ageing : 3 years on lees.
