{Peaches on Toast} Made in the hills of Treviso, North of Venice, by Anna & her son using vines planted by her father in 1952. Organic grapes fed by the Piave River.

Anna Spinato Prosecco Extra Dry

  • Region : Italy > Veneto > Treviso > Ponte di Piave

Tasting note : A pale straw colour with scents of apricot and sweet bread. As well as pear on the palate there is a warm almond finish.

Blend : 100% Prosecco ('Glera' if produced outside the region)

Ageing : Fermented over 4 weeks and bottled soon after to keep the fresh fruit flavours, to be drunk and enjoyed soon.

    ABV : 11 %

Drink me with : We say grilled fish, quick off the barbecue! Also a great match for fruit puddings and soft cheeses.

About the Producer : In a region where wine production runs back to the 12th Century, Spinato was established in 1952 by Anna's father Pietro who saw the potential for quality on a piece of land lapped by the river Piave. Still a small producer, the wines are produced with care and an awareness of the progress of technology and how taste has changed over the last few decades; Anna Spinato has a passion for producing forward-thinking, delicate and complex wines.
