{Apricot & Hazelnut} Produced between the towns of Valdobbiadene & Conegiano, this elevated Prosecco is produced from older vines and carefully selected fruit.
Prosecco Valdobbiadene Superiore
Region : Italy > Veneto > Valdobbiadene
Tasting note : This wine marches a middle ground between fruit flavours and a toasty biscuit note from aging - it has delicate floral notes on the nose with hints of apricot and brioche. A subtle wine with soft spices and a bread crust finish.
Blend : 100% Prosecco
Ageing : after fermentation to create a still wine there is a second fermentation on the lees over a 5 week period - bottled soon after to preserve the fruit flavours of the prosecco.
ABV : 12%
Drink me with : Scallops, grilled fish, chicken dishes and cured meats
About the Producer : In a region where wine production runs back to the 12th Century, Spinato was established in 1952 by Anna's father Pietro Spinato who saw the potential for quality on a piece of land lapped by the river Piave. Still a small producer, the wines are produced with care and an awareness of the progress of technology and how taste has changed over the last few decades; Anna Spinato has a passion for producing forward-thinking delicate and complex wines.
