Sharpham Pinot Noir

Tasting Note : Cherry with subtle spice. Similar to Burgundy Pinot Noir. Light, full flavoured with juicy red berries and soft tannins.
Blend : 100% Pinot Noir.
Wine Making : Grapes are crushed and refrigerated for at least a week before fermentation. After fermentation crushed grapes, seeds and stems are left in touch with the wine for at least another week. Finally the wine goes through a secondary fermentation before ageing begins.
Ageing : 8 months in 6th use Frenck oak barrels.
ABV : 11.5
Drink With : Game meat, mushroom stroganoff, goat's cheese.
